Americanos were popularized in North America and now it is consumed by coffee lovers all around the world. Belgian Hot Chocolate is one of our signature beverages at BLENZ COFFEE. True to our core philosophy, our Belgian Hot Chocolate is made using only 100% authentic Belgian Chocolate, unlike most of our competitors who use powders and syrups in their Chocolate based beverages.

It can be said that BLENZ COFFEE is a leader in the hot chocolate drink category. For the past number of years BLENZ COFFEE has been serving a superior hot chocolate made from authentic Belgian chocolate and we continue to be known as the creator of the best hot chocolate in town. At BLENZ COFFEE we believe that our customers deserve only the best, authentic ingredients. Classic Apple Cider
Classic Apple Cider is like the traditional BLENZ Apple Cider with a new twist. It’s a touch of cinnamon syrup mixed into an organic apple cider topped with whipped cream and cinnamon sprinkles! This festive drink is great not only for the winter season but all‐year‐round as a caffeine‐free alternative! Our new apple cider is from Triple Jim’s based in Chilliwack, BC ‐ an all natural cider, pressed from firm, ripe BC apples certified organically grown without chemical sprays or fertilizer. There is absolutely nothing added ‐ not even sugar or preservatives ‐ so our customers can enjoy an all‐natural product.

What a great time we all had at this years ”That Barista Thing”. The event was proudly supported by BLENZ Coffee and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came down on the day to support the baristas. The competition was fierce but there could be only winner.

The Baristas were judged based on 5 categories: 1) Aesthetic Beauty 2) Definition 3) Colour Infusion 4) Degree of Difficulty and Creativity 5) Speed. Competitors were given 4 minutes to make one latte for the judges to be scored against each other.

That Barista Thing is a celebration of Barista Culture proudly supported by Blenz Coffee. Held in the stunning Library Square Promenade on Robson St, find many activities for the whole family to participate in, including: Latte art Etching workshop; Craft tables; Free beverages; Fortune Telling Tea Leaf Reading; Live artists at work; Authentic Japanese and Chinese Tea Ceremony; and lots lots more.. The signature event on the main stage is The Vancouver International Latte Art Competition and Etching Competition, awarding the highest cash prize to the winning Barista than any other latte art competition worldwide.
This is a free event and it is open to the public, we invite everyone to come on Sunday Oct 2nd from 11-4 p.m and watch as a panel of experts from the Food/Beverage Industry judge Baristas from throughout the Lower Mainland, and as far as Japan. Come and cheer for your favourite Barista as they compete head-to-head, tournament style, for a fun, fast paced, and entertaining competition. Why not spend the day with us in honour of the Barista, one of the most important people in our lives – especially first thing in the morning  !!! On the day of the event Blenz Coffee will be giving out free Lattes, coffees and hot chocolate for kids. Join us this Sunday Oct 2nd for a great time at ‘That Barista Thing 2011’.
